? Interferon side effects

I have ET JAK2 2 with slight scarring . Also developed PE along the way . I am on interferon 135mcg weekly for the last one year and has been tolerating it well except mild nausea . This has controlled my platelets well . I am also on Abixaban . Of late I have been experiencing lots of abdominal issues.. increasing nausea vomiting , burping. Lots of flatulence - really offensive and change in bowel movements. I have also been noticing blood” in my stool . Are all this related to interferon side effects ? Anyone gone through this ? I am worried Thanks in advance

I'm hoping you've made an urgent appointment with your gp? Blood in your stool should be a red flag.

if there’s blood in the stool, you need to get to a GP or better to a gastroenterologist if youve seen it more than once. Nothing to play with. It could just be a haemorrhoid or one of many other things. Interferon had caused me a lot of pain in my tendons in hands, feet, R. Knee, neck, r hip. The pain was so bad that I had to eventually stop. Also mood swings, brain fort in the first 4 days.
