Updating password

I have just received a second email from someone called "Brett" telling me I need to update my password. Has anyone else had to do this? I am concerned in case it's spam. Many thank in anticipation of replies. Turfbeg

hi Turfbeg

I have just looked into this, and this has also been reported by members of other forums/organizations using HealthUnlocked, and the message from the HealthUnlocked Admin Team is:

I can confirm that this is a genuine email from Brett at HU Support. I have been in discussion with HU Support on this password update issue, noting that the best security practice is not to provide links in emails for password changes. That prompted the additional email from Brett.

I'd still recommend your member reset their password from within the site, for their own reassurance. This link works:

healthunlocked.com/reset

I hope this helps. Maz

Thanks Mazcd for the information. In this world of data selling it is good to know people are getting more wise to different types like "press button 1".

hi SoledadBarcelona, the email I am referring to has not been sent by me, it is being sent to some members by the admin team at HealthUnlocked, by one of the team called Brett. Some members of all the forums/organizations that use HealthUnlocked are being advised that they have to change their password due to a maintenance update. If you have not received an email from HealthUnlocked then you do not need to take any action. Maz
