No reason not to that I know of. I do them on occasion. just be sure to stay well hydrated.

i use Infra Red Sauna 3 times and week and has helped immensely

I have ET Jack 2 positive, and not PV, but I do an infrared sauna 3 to 4 times a week, and I feel that it is healthy for me. Remembering to hydrate is important.

I’ve had ET since 2008 and in the past 2 yrs my diagnosis has shifted to PV. I have terrible bouts of itching/pruritis since the transition to PV. Taking a shower even for a few minutes or sweating can bring on itching all over. I inject 180 mgs of Peginterferon weekly and have recently started ruxilitinib and that has lessoned but not eliminated the itching. Had to give up swimming and surfing as I can no longer stand being in the water. So I do a lot more fishing. Keeps me near the water at least.
