Potential solutions depend on the cause of the fatigue. Fatigue is the most common of the MPN constitutional symptoms. Fatigue is also a common adverse effect of medications used to treat MPNs. Sometime timing is the only clue as to which is which.

If medication adverse effect is the issue, then a dose change or a change in medications may help. If the issue is with the MPN itself, there are strategies that can help.

I have received a lot of help from dietary supplements prescribed by a kinesiologist. The only downside is one has to pay for the consultation and the vitamins! I am truly astonished by how different I feel. (Am on 1000mg HU one day and 500 the next)

have you had your vitamin levels checked? If not , request Vit D, Vit B12 and folate , ferritin. Also get them to check thyroid levels and thyroid antibodies . Just helpful to rule out other possibilities. Get a print out of your results. They usually show the ranges.

NB: B12 has a wide range. Many people are still in range but can have lots of symptoms . I was one of those. Worked like a miracle for me. Brain fog, exhaustion all went .

you’ve had some good answers already, I find exercise helps a lot, no matter how tired I feel I work out 5-6 days and I find it essential

Totally agree walking the dog in all weather's twice a day helps.Try and pace yourself (I know difficult) allow yourself to nap if necessary. For me the fuzzy bit normally means I'm dehidrated and need to reduce caffeine and take water

I definitely agree here. It can be hard to push yourself to exercise when you feel fatigue. But I've found that it does help. I just start with something light like stretching or a brief walk - or even getting up to sort laundry. And then I try to keep going. It helps.

Hi, yes all of the above. Nutritional diet, lots of veggies, fruits and exercise help me to keep going.

drink plenty of water, take CoQ10 and Acetyl l-Carnitine for more energy. We all tend to be low in both. Eat an organic antiinflammatory diet, make sure your neck is not stiff. Our bloods need to flow freely. Light exercise a few times a day to keep blood flow going.
