That’s a lovely pic, says everything. I’m amazed your husband had built such a closeness (literally). My hubby has two doves that come visiting, he gets very close to them, but not eating out of hand yet!

It’s been a joy to see this.

Thank you. The robin lives on the field across from our house, my husband walks the dogs there every day, it’s often waiting for him, especially in cold weather. It flies round his head until he gets the food out, it took about 3 months to “tame” it. When it was feeding young he went 3 times a day with meal worms etc.
