I had my blood work done yesterday at the clinic for ET. I am on HU 500 mg every other day. Platelets were 482 which I am happy about, however my blood sugar was 53. I have been rather tired on HU so I chocked it up to that. I read if one starts having really low blood sugar it might be a sign of diabetes. I am 71, 5‘6“ and weigh 120 #. My diet is good. I exercise by walking. The doctor has not called me. Has anyone had this or know anything about it? Thank you! Should I call my primary care doctor?

Hypoglycemia is a condition that can exist for a number of reasons. It is a condition that requires prompt assessment and follow-up, particularly since you appear to be symptomatic. Definitely call your PCP right away.
Thank you Hunter!
