hello friends, I was wondering if anyone else who started Jakafi 10mg a day has a terrible itch all over legs and arms . I didn’t have this before starting and I was wondering if it will go away, it’s been two days I started this med

I had no itching before or during treatment with Jakafi/ruxolitinib but when I stopped it the itching was really bad. However be aware you may be having an allergic reaction

Never heard of Rux causing itch, usually the opposite, possibly a allergic reaction or unrelated, best check with Haem,

My itch disappeared on Ruxolitinib. It got really bad while I was on Pegasys.

You could take Beta Alanine before bath or Zyrtec to relief the itchy.

Meanwhile, take curcumin to reduce your inflammations.

I had terrible itching before Jakavi now on 25 mg twice daily now very rare probably not what you were expecting by the way MF for 3 plus years

I have the opposite experience. I got on Jakafi bec of itching. If I have further itching I take atarax or Benadryl. Sorry I cant help.

Zyrtec or Cetirzine (Target store brand) was effective - It takes ~30 minutes to work and lasts about 24 hours
