Consultant in South Wales?

I have had PMF for a long time, now taking Ruxolitinib. I am thinking about moving to South Wales to be near family. Does anyone have experience of Haematology Dept at Cardiff University Hospital? Any info would be v helpful. Thank you x

I dont know any hematologist but I know that in Scotland Besremi is banned. Less options.

Hi ,I live caerphilly south wales but am under the royal Gwent in Newport haematology and I find my consultant good , I can give you his name if you like , hope your move goes well

I’m seeing a haematologist at Prince Charles Hospital and she copies in Prof Steve Knapper and the Transplant team of any changes in my PMF

Prince Charles Hospital is in Merthyr Tydfil. Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board

Hi, I am based in Tenby, but I have met professor Steve Knapper when I wanted a second opinion back in 2012. I found him extremely helpful. I have met him many times since at the MPN forums in Cardiff.
