Fatigue with PV using Besremi

I have PV with positive Jak2. I am taking 450 mcg/ml Besremi every two weeks. Is fatigue a problem with PV or Besremi? or both? Does anyone have similar experiences?

Hi Dgar

I guess its very difficult to say what is from PV and what is from Besremi. I recently switched from pegasys to besremi - both similar interferons. The first 6-12 months on pegasys were tough (especially re fatigue and general mood) but then it got better and better. Hope you will notice the same.

Fatigue can result from either the PV or the Besremi or iron deficiency or any combination thereof. Sometimes timing of the symptom is the only clue to figure it out.
