Is Dienogest safe for ET patients?

I am ET Jak2+ for 2 years now.

I just consulted my OB-GYNE yesterday and was diagnosed with Endometriosis so she is prescribing me pills to stop my period.

I am aware that birth control pills can cause blood clotting

Has anyone any experience using birth control pills here, do you have any recommendation?

She prescribed me Dienogest.

I would appreciate your responses.

Thank you very much.

Hi, it would be best to discuss this with your haematologist, and perhaps ask your ob/gynae consultant if she can also liaise with your haematologist to make sure it is ok for you to take these pills. Best wishes, Maz
