I am recently been feeling well and tolerating Pegasys for few months month . This has improved my quality of life an also my platelets are normal.
Unfortunately I had a rough week with right rib / abdomen pain which then worsened and left me Breathless , tachycardia and nauseated.
I do experience a lot of intermittent chest /left arm pains. I also experience intermittent Short of breath sometimes when I am sleeping and had previously been put down as panic attacks.
Anyway I ended up in ED and had a CT PA with showed I have a small PE . Not what I expected but I am happy am on treatment for it . And hoping it will dissolve and never reoccur again .
Now I am wondering if might sound crazy to ask for a heart check up to see if I have been having angina instead of putting it down as bone pain.
Thanks 🙏🏿.

I would think a cardiac screening would be a prudent course of action. We are at risk and with a history of recent PE, a thorough cardiac evaluation would be a very good idea.
I would think that a cardiac evaluation would be in order with your symptoms. I don't know of any down sides of having a work up. Hope you can access an evaluation. Best to you.
Thanks for your kind words . Am now on blood thinners so hoping it will dissolve soon . And is true we need to be aware of the risks facing us . It threw me off but getting there! 🍻
Your Doctors will watch you more closely which is always best when discovering an issue and beginning a new treatment. I am sure you will enjoy the positive medical attention.
When I was diagnosed my Specialist said “your body has a secret, it can make blood clots, but now we know it too.” ❤️😎🍻
