Pegasys Left in Syringe?

I noticed that there was a small amount of Peg left in the Syringe that I didn’t get. How can I avoid that waste?

Hi Russkat, you can try the syringes that do not use a removable LuerLok needle as they have more "head loss" as they have wasted space. I use syringes made for insulin and they have minimal head space in them. They also are coated needles for a more comfortable poke. Easy Touch U-100

Hi Mortysdad, I’m going to try the Easy-Touch u-100 syringes in to reduce the wastage from the medication left in the needle. I see you can buy them in various needle gauge sizes. What size needle do you use?

Hi Monica, I use 27 gauge 1/2"...one of the smallest. Good luck!

Thank you! That is exactly what I wanted to know. I have ordered 27g 1/2" 1ml Easy touch insulin needles.
