Hi Everyone, I switched from Besremi 50 mcg every two weeks to jackafi 5 mg bid. I have been on Jakafi 17 days and I am exhausted. I have my blood work tomorrow. I did not experience this with Besremi. Has anyone else experienced with Jackafi? Thanks in advance!

Hi! It was because of my autoimmune diseases (alopecia and vitiligo) got really bad. Also was experiencing depression which was new. My MPN thought we should give Jakafi a try. Plus Jackafi is supposed to help with alopecia and vitiligo. We shall see, fingers crossed my counts stay stable as that is the most important!!
that’s unusual re Rux, most have no downside and many report feeling much better and better energy. You’re also on very low dose so I would be surprised if it’s the Rux, if it is the Rux it might be your body getting used to it, most people don’t need that. I am on 20+17.5 Rux but started on 2.5BID , I had to build up slowly to current dose and it took me a couple of weeks to normalise after each increase. I discussed this with Dr V who was at the time Dr Rux , he said he had never heard of such.
With you it could be the Rux but I would check in case it’s something else, if it is the Rux you should adjust to it, there is a slight possibility it’s the combo of Rux and Peg , all topics to discuss with your doc.
