Can anyone recommend a travel Insurance company please. I have MF & am currently waiting to see if I can have a SCT. I am in the UK & planning a trip to the Canaries.

Thank you.

I have just got insurance for Gran Canaria with Admiral for mf. Nine days for £89. Would love an annual multi trip insurance but cannot get one.

AA Travel Insurance. Very straightforward and reasonable price when I used them last year. All done online, no need to phone. Suzy

I have an annual insurance through my bank but have to top up. Moving from ET to MF has seen the top up amount move from £80 to £314 pa. I am insured with Allianz through Lloyds bank. Cover is world wide and includes winter sport. I have a few trips planned this year and any other option through other providers only offers me insurance per trip. Hope this helps and have a lovely holiday in the sun

maybe worth checking Abletravel/voyager I use them for PV, they answer the phone fairly quickly and usually good staff

I am currently shopping for UK to USA travel Insurance having PV. Cost varying from £150 to 380 ish with Allclear Travel, Tesco etc but worry is getting one that will not be a problem if claiming. Lots easy to get but not necessarily good should claim be needed.

Mixed reviews on Staysure.

Staysure take months to settle claims. I had the misfortune to be hospitalised abroad. I had to pay the £8000 bill myself.

Staysure policy is administered by Ergo Travel Ltd. The claims are handled by Davies Group Ltd.

It took over 3 months before I was reimbursed. I had to use my savings in the interim.

Avoid any companies that have policies administered by Ergo Travel Ltd. They are impossible to contact.

i have just gone through Quidco and got what appears to be very good insurance from MakesureTravel Annual Worldwide including USA including my husband with multiple pre existing conditions for £283. Also get £59 cash back on Quidco.

Reviews look good and included benefits are good. Only when u claim if we find out how any of them are any good.

Post Office had good price too but could not beat this.
