I've decided, in part thanks to all the kind concern here, that I will wait to discuss idea of a short break from Hydroxycarbamide until I go to Guy's Hospital appointment in May . Especially after reading Frans latest post .

Probably the best decision! You are lucky in that you’re a patient at Guy’s! Wonderful knowledge and care for M.P.N. Patients and best Specialist in Prof.Harrison. Fran
It is always best to make these decisions in collaboration with our care team. If something comes up before May to cause you to reconsider, you can always send the folks at Guys a note regarding the issue. I usually get a good response from most providers when I send a note in the patient portal.
