Help please- who gets phlebotomy in Brisbane Australia?

I have PV and am visiting from Canada (am a Aussie home for Christmas) Both me and my Canadian hematologist were a bit optimistic on my being able to cope with 2 months between phlebotomy. I'm struggling with my symptoms and would love to get rid of some blood.Anyone in Brisbane with a doctor who knows what this disease is so I might be able to see them to organise a phlebotomy? Don't want to go to an A and E department to waste their time.

Thanks MazI went to a local doc with my printouts from my Canadian hematologist and the doc was awesome. Hopefully blood will be taken tomorrow. 😊

Try one of the haematologists at Icon Cancer Centre. You can search their website for haematologists with MPN listed. There are several in Brisbane. The one at South Brisbane is quite central.
