Today on Instagram Lynda Carter revealed her husband's cause of death was myelofibrosis that transformed into AML. She is starting a partnership with City of Hope and donating her own money as well as working to raise funds.

While I'm glad to hear any mention of MPN's in mainstream press, it seems to me like her gift to them was misplaced, probably because they provided Mr. Altman's Leukemia care.

I say this because they only have 2 MD's whose interests list MPN's, and neither of them are primarily MPN specialists.

The Silver Center in NYC would have possibly been a better choice.
