I have just over another 2 weeks to see nurses at hospital.
Could anyone tell me if itching is a problem with this? I haven’t started on any meds yet but apart from my really horrid headaches and fatigue, I have started with a peculiar itching at the top of my arms, I haven’t been bit or anything and it kind of hurts as it starts itching, like a stabbing of lots of fine needles…😟

I have intermittent problems with itchiness. I take the antihistamine Loratadine daily and it seems to have helped reduce itchy episodes. But, my itchiness tends to be all over, not concentrated in one place.
While it could be unrelated, itching is a classic MPN symptom. Definitely bring it up with your MPN Care Team. Hopefully you will be in contact with one of the MPN Specialist teams. Many hematologists do not have much experience with MPNs and are not familiar with how they can manifest.
Hi. I have ET and have itching on the top of my feet especially around my ankles. I take Hydro. Thank you all for your responses because I was wondering why. I read everyone's responses everyday and don't say anything, but you have helped me so much to understand this cancer.
