Anyone out there living with Polycythaemia Rubra Vera + Multiple Myeloma?
I expect there will not be very many positives to this cooccurrence given how rare PV is. I did a quick look at the literature. I found a couple of relevant articles.

Hi SolasChoir. My younger brother and I both have PV, and my older brother has myeloma. We were told they are not 'related' diseases - PV is in the myeloid lineage of cell production and myeloma is in the lymphoid lineage. But they were very intrigued that we had these familial haematology issues and suggested that if ever there was a relevant clinical trial perhaps it could be investigated. Best wishes to you and your friend -having both can't be easy.
