I'm wondering whether others in the U.S. have managed to get 5th shots for Covid? If you go to the CDC website, there's a tool to find out whether you are eligible for a fifth shot. And the tool
does recommend a fifth shot for those who are moderately immunocompromised.
But so far I've been unable to find a pharmacy that will administer a fifth shot. They say that while the CDC has issued the decision for a fifth shot, they haven't yet issued the guidance to pharmacists.
I'm wondering what the rest of you have found?

Hi Peggy: I've had the two shots for the original vaccine and three booster shots, so I think that's the five shots you're referring to. I live just outside of San Francisco and got the fifth shot at a local CVS pharmacy; it was also offered at Walgreens or through my doctor. It was easy to sign up on the pharmacy website and I just had to show my vaccination card when I got the shot. My husband has also gotten the fifth shot and it was the same process. Hope this helps.
