Phlebotomy

Had my first phlebotomy today. HCT was 51.3. It went fine. I feel fine.

Glad it went well. I was nervous when I had my first one but was soon taking it in my stride even doing a bit of work on my mobile during the treatment.

Glad the phlebotomy was no big deal. As the meds kick in you should need less phlebotomy. It is all a balancing act and it is different for each of us. Wishing you all the best finding the right balance for you.

I've had over 60 venesections, did they. Give you saline replacement? That made me feel a lot better

No. I was fine though. I read how many people feel tired and wiped out afterwards. It was only my first one. I suppose if I have to get a lot of them I’ll feel bad too but far so good.
