Why 2 MPN Communities

Hi all. Having found out I was JAK2 positive last week I started looking for information on MPN. I found my way to Health Unlocked only to find 2 communities. This one and Fight MPN. Is there any reason for this?

Hello DougyW, the Fight MPN community was originally set-up and moderated by Patient Power, a US based organization, however 3 years ago they were no longer able to continue moderating the community and the team at HealthUnlocked took over the moderation of the community.

This MPN Voice community is separate to the Fight MPN community, it is moderated by the team from MPN Voice. Kind regards, Maz.

The personal touch from the Voice moderators is very clear. Thanks for the great work.

Hi DougyW. Thanks for the update about Fight MPN - I wasn't aware there were 2 forums. I noticed that you got replies here in MPN Voice but not on Fight MPN. Is that community still active? Did you work out whether it's worth joining both? I'd be interested to know because I'll join both if Fight MPN has good information. Thanks and best wishes.

I've looked at the 'Fight' community and there are a few recent posts but it is much less active. I guess I know where I will focus my time to learn about my condition. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Appreciated
