Peg jab

Thanks to everyone who offered tips on self-jabbing. It was a breeze although the only slight problem encountered was wrenching the caps off the needle and the interferon containers. They were screwed on very tightly.

Did you ‘twist’ and pull?

No. Twist and shout! Will do as you suggest next time

Getting the cap off is the trickiest part. I grasp the needle unit just below the cap then twist and pull the cap off. The injection is really easy.

All the best and happy jabbing.

Actually good point. I never mentioned that in previous posts

I have the same trouble. I use a rubber gripper to hold the needle when I pull and twist it. I am not strong enough to do it without the gripper.

I don't have the strength to twist and pull. Or even shout for that matter. Am really weak and feeble. I once broke the whole thing and wasted everything. Then I realised it is held on by a sticky label. So I just work away at peeling the label off and it comes away very easily.
