Spleen Stiffness correlates to fibrosis in MF

I came across this study.

Using a type of ultrasound, "point shear wave elastography" (pSWE) spleen stiffness can be measured. This is distinct from the more familiar spleen size.

(fibrosis) Therefore, we confirmed that SS, evaluated by pSWE, may serve as a surrogate marker of BMF. Note the word "speculate". But this suggest having a baseline value for SS could be useful. I recently had an ultrasound, but this procedure was not part of it. I will ask my Dr about it.
