I'm probably not the only one with a quick clickly finger, but I've been watching today. It's for real.

It has FDA black box warning for serious possible side effects.

But HU also has a black box warning , so such a warning is not new to us.

Thank you for posting this. Any idea of the cost of Besremi? Will medicare drug plans cover this drug? Again, thanks for posting this info.

PharmaEssentia said a while ago they would charge in US the same as the highest rate that they are getting in Euro. But that's not very informative. I expect it will be more than PEG in general partly bec it is the only FDA approved MPN INF.

But since it is FDA approved for an MPN while PEG is not, it is more likely to be covered. My guess is a specific Dx of PV is helpful but things can be flexible from what I know. Also I've read that cancer drugs in general are more likely to be covered.

Thanks, I guess we'll just have to wait it out. I see my mpn specialist on Dec 7 hopefully he will have some info on cost. Thank you for keeping us informed.
