Hi, I have ET Jak2, on hydroxy and aspirin. I’ve had intermittent pain down my R leg this weekend and wondering if it could be bone pain or a reaction to my Pfizer vaccine (3rd) that I had on Fri. What does bone pain feel like and which parts of our body do we get it if it’s MPN related? Or has anyone had leg pains from the Pfizer jab?
Thanks.

I'm same therapy and Dx as you. I've had pain going down either arm since I started HU last year. I've had 3 Pf shots but no arm/bone pain correlation to the shots other than inj site pain.
Hi I too have pain down my right leg from knee downwards front of leg and am ET Jak 2. On Hydroxy and Aspirin. It comes and goes sometimes worse than others. I cannot make out whether it is bone or muscle next to it. I mentioned it at Guy's last week and it was said probably muscle pain. It sometimes eminates up from my right foot. I do not have it all the time every day, but intermittently and often in bed at night it is worse. It has been ongoing pre my Pfizer vax so know it is not associated to that. Still a b it of a mystery.
Thanks for your replies. It’s completely gone after pretty severe pain over the weekend! I felt quite sick with it and I have a high pain threshold. I wonder if it could be Pfizer related because it came on the day after my vaccine, out of the blue and now it’s completely disappeared!
Or maybe it was something like sciatica.
I am also interested in what bone pain feels like that is MPN related and where you get it. Presumably where the red bone marrow sites are?
Hi, my partner who does not have MPN experienced the same leg pain after the same vaccine and strangely enough so did two of our friends. They all said it felt like sciatic. I think it lasted possibly a couple of weeks and then disappeared, hope yours does too, good luck.
I would describe bone pain as being like a nagging toothache deep inside the bone. It's usually in the femur where I get it.Only reaction I had from the Pfizer jab was sore lymph nodes (under the arm I had the jab in), that started a couple of days after having the jab and went on for about a week
