Hi All , my HU has caused me to have very low sodium for which I take salt tablet twice a day ! I also have been diagnosed with POTS which can be caused by medication but I’m yet to find this out ! Pots causes my bp to drop low when standing and mornings are the worse my HR is high when Bp is low ! And it’s very hard to treat anyone on here have this problem with blood vessels / circulation issues

I had a different problem with tachycardia. I had paroxysmal atrial tachycardia, caused by a defect in electrical nodes in the heart. I was not tolerating the meds for this so opted for the surgery, which was effective. I still get occasional low-grade sinus tachycardia, but it does not require any treatment. I did get postural orthostatic hypotension when my dose of losartan was too high. I no longer needed a standard dose when the hyperviscosity of my blood was under control. Lowering the dose corrected to issue.

When you have multiple overlapping medical issues it is relly important to have a MPN Specialist on your care team rather than a regular hematologist. Hope you have been able to arrange for this as you seek answers.
