Free Lateral Flow tests.

Morning everyone.

I'm not sure whether everyone is aware of this. I only found out a few days ago, everyone is now being encouraged to take two Lateral Flow tests a week... regardless of whether you have Covid-19 symptoms.

You can order them for delivery to your home or collect them from a test centre. I believe that you receive 7 tests at a time for home use.

I ordered mine on Friday and received an email to say they are on their way. The Government hope regular use of the rapid lateral flow tests will become a habit and help keep cases low as the economy reopens.

Ordered mine Thursday and they arrived Friday - seems you can reorder daily if multiple people testing in the same household

Anyone know if this lateral flow kit ordering service is also available in Scotland?

I think it only applies to England. Not always clear where things apply. I now work on the basis if Boris says it, it's England only. Sorry, this sounds a bit political, it isn't meant to be. Just my way of trying to untangle all the complexity of what applies where.

I ordered mine on the NHS App on my mobile Friday 9pm- arrived Sat at 0 am by Royal Mail. They can also be picked up at Pharmacies.
