I hope all celebrating the USA Thanksgiving had a great time. To stay safe, my family did a virtual Thanksgiving and shared time on Zoom. We actually had quite a good time and got to see family we would have otherwise missed seeing.
As we all prepare to the coming Christmas Holiday, dealing with MPNs and COVID, I got to thinking about how to embrace the joy of the Season. So I commenced to decorating the house even if I am the only who may end up seeing it. While decorating, I got a surprise delivery from my daughter. She sent me a life-sized prop-up image of her lovely self. I was quite amused as my virtual-daughter "assisted" me in decorating my house. She now stands beside my tree with her jolly hat perched on her head.
Amidst all the challenges we have these days, I hope you all find ways to find joy during this Season.

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas in a few weeks! What a lovely thing to have received, the pop up figure of your daughter is great. Thanks for the uplifting message. Very best wishes, Fran.
That is so cool! What a great idea! We had a wonderful zoom conversation with my family all around the country, as well. We had from California, Texas, New York, and of course Florida, where I live. It was the best way to spend a Covid Thanksgiving.
That's brilliant! If this was Facebook I would have done a "wow" emoji reaction! Luckily in the 21st century family celebrations are easily done virtually. We just need to be patient until this pandemic is dealt with.
My daughter and son in law came over for thanksgiving and we zoomed the rest of the family and played on line games. What fun! First time for everything but I have to admit Xmas will not be as fun as this will be the first time in 60 years I will be alone. Both children will be with their children in other parts of the country. It’ll be their first time away from their parents. We’ll zoom again tho. So thankful for that technology so I can see them all. Happy holidays to everyone. And yes, the cutout is fantastic. 🥰.
