I had a CT assisted bone marrow biopsy today. I was under anesthesia. Its my first BMB ever. I am not sore at the site - I have this DEEP gluteal pain that is REALLY bothering me! Should I be concerned at all?

Bone Marrow Biopsy and Gluteal Pain
I only had pain at the site. It only lasted a day or two. But I did feel soreness in the area where I had the BMB done every time it rained for about a year. Nothing unbearable. You may want to contact your doctor.
Hi, I had pain for about a week afterwards, it felt like a kinda deep bruising ...nothing unbearable but nearly 4 weeks now since i had my bmb and it feels like a distant memory x
Hi. I had a bmb on Weds last week. It was very tender in the first few days after and although it’s still a little tender to touch it is getting easier. If you’ve got concerns it might be worth speaking to your GP or the team who carried out the procedure. Hope it gets easier for you soon.
I had pain for several weeks after mine, really severe for the first 2 particularly when getting up from sitting and putting weight on that side

I wouldn't be concerned, but I would definitely check in with your doctor about it. I have had 2 BMB now and the first one hurt for almost a year afterwards. Sending you good vibes to recover quickly!
