Pegasys 180mgs syringes- Are they discontinued?

I’ve just come back from a recent Heam appointment at the hospital. Unfortunately my platlets refuse to come down below 650 even though I’m on 135mg Pegasys weekly since Jan. we agreed to up my dose to alternating 135mg one week and 180mg the next. When I took the prescriptions to the hospital pharm, I was given 2 x 90mg syringes instead of 180mg syringes. I complained, as I bruise badly with one injection never mind two. The pharmacist told me that they don’t have any 180mg syringes, he said he’s checked and 180mg was discontinued, just inject one each side instead! I cannot find any reference to 180mg being continued anywhere on the internet, and suspect the hospital pharm. preferred to give me what they had in stock rather than the cost of ordering the 180mgs. Has anyone else any information on whether 180mgs are discontinued? If it isn’t discontinued, can I complain or do I just have to accept what the hospital pharmacy gives me?
