For last three years my rbc count is mildly high 6.22 to 6.3 and hemoglobin 14 to recently 16.6 and hct 45.4 to latest 49.2 platelete 330000 to 498000 at present. At first it appeared to me that values are in fluctuation but for last one year it is increasing. Is it due to pv? I m 40 yr old. Hav chronic liver disease due to hepatitis b. My spleen mildly enlarged but earlier said it was due to hbv. Pls give me opinion

Hi Spa1981, you will need to discuss this with your doctor to determine the cause of the increase in your blood counts and whether or not it is PV, which could be secondary, or primary. Best wishes, Maz
Impossible to say whether you are experiencing PV or a secondary erythrocytosis/thrombocytosis without appropriate testing. It could be either. Follow up with a hematologist familiar with MPNs (not all of them are).
