Snail gel

Does anyone know if it is safe to take snail gel capsules for osteoporosis pain? I have ET and PCV taking hydroxy, rivaroxaban for a previous PE and lisinopril for blood pressure. Read some good reviews, but don't know whether us MPNers can safely take it. Look forward to hearing your views. Thanks

It is likely OK to use a topical, but I would not assume anything. If something is biologically active enough to help you, then it can also hurt you and interact with other meds. Some complimentary health interventions really do work and are worth pursuing. I have had success reducing osteoarthritis pain with complementary health interventions, but also consult with an Integrative Medicine doc. Most docs do not know much about complimentary health interventions nor their interactions. Good reason to seek expert consultation.

BTW - noticed you referenced osteoporosis pain above. Did spellcheck change what you entered?
