Reticulocyte counts in Polycythemia Vera

Anyone here with an elevated reticulocyte count but normal epo ? My epo is 8. I haven't seen a mention of this test in PV

I did some research and it turns out it is elevated in PV. I would love to start a discussion. 😊

EPO testing is fairly routine but for PV. EPO levels are often low in PV but other factors such as smoking and being overweight can push levels back up.

I can't recall seeing routine results for reticulocytes but as PV is characterized by elevated red blood cell counts you would expect reticulocytes ( immature red blood cells) to be elevated as well.
