I had an appointment on Monday with Donal Mclornan, one of Prof. Harrisons team at Guys. He said my blood counts were ok and that the Ruxolinitib is doing it's job. my abnormal readings were
WBC = 16
RDW = 15.7
Platelet, RBC, Haematocrit wre all within range.
Donal said no need to alter medication or dosage.
I am not experiencing any symptoms and need to get an abdominal scan to check if Spleen is shrinking.
So all in all, not too bad.

My husband is on ruxolitanib it's reduced his spleen down .
His bloods are almost in normal range his white cells are 12.9
I read that diet and stress can be a cause for higher white cells .
His white cells were 17 in December so he's been doing dry January and calorie counting he's lost 1 stone in weight and his white cells are now 12.9 which isn't too far out of range.
His liver function tests have have come down they almost in range now.
So I'm guessing lifestyle change works wonders with your blood results.
