hope you had a good new year what I am trying to do is get more MPN nurse specialists in Haematology clinics as they are spot on and have the knowledge a consultant has if the consultant gets called away the MPN nurse specialist can stand in for them so clinic does not run late they are brilliant we need more in Scotland and also if you go to see some GPS you ask them about your MPN and the blank look comes over their face and they say mention it to your consultant but have to approach your local MSP to state our case

Hi Scottish Terrier, Not sure what I can do to help the rest of Scotland, I’m lucky enough to have a very knowledgeable MPN clinical nurse specialist. Maybe they could do with more money for another member of CNS team or cover for holidays or sick leave. I’m involved in a project to free up all cancer CNS’s time, at my hospital. Watch this space to witness the impact.

We had a fantastic one she left getting a great job her replacement was either pregnant at her interview or after the interview but now we do not have one in place boy do we miss our old one
