The British Society for Haematology published new guidelines in November 2018. My haematologist told me at the time and I am posting the link here so people know about it. See b-s-h.org.uk/guidelines/gui....
Also, would like to say I am looking forward to the Sheffield MPN Forum. I went to one in London a few years ago and found it useful and interesting. The NHS at its best.

Thanks for posting the link to these useful updated guidelines. They were mentioned in the MPN patient forum in London a week ago. Highlights for me are that the high risk age is now 65 rather than 60, interferon is confirmed as a very effective therapy (and in the patient forum Dr Kiladjian highlighted that patients of all ages benefit from interferon, not just younger patients!) and serial checks of the bone marrow have no obvious clinical benefit. All good news!
