I recently had to take antibiotics for a chest infection, I contacted my MPN specialist and he advised not to take the Pegasus until I had finished the course of antibiotics. I would advise that you contact your consultant.

You should ask the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics to check for you, and you can also ask the pharmacist who dispensed them as they can check for you.

I agree with Maz that you should check with your doctor as each case is different but I’ve taken antibiotics while on Pegasys, with no problem
