Was started on Anegrelide this week, 0.5 dose every other day. Platelets are staying around 1.1 mil. I have symptoms of bad neuropathy pain in feet especially at night. Vision changes, fatigue, and minor headaches. Now after taking Anegrelide I have some palpitations too. Has anyone tried CBD oil to try to help lower platelets or manage symptoms?

CBD oil? Could it help lower platelets or just help with symptoms from high platelets. ET diagnosed 3 yrs ago
Hi Belamomma1, i'm seriously considering looking more into it,not specifically for platelets counts but symptoms, will not just jump in feet first,i have issues about it because of the hemp/cannibas connection, even though i understand in its purest form their is no THC in it. Atb,tina.🤗
Hey Bellamomma1...
Yes, it does sound like your platelets are way too high...
Has you specialist mentioned Pegasys to you?
It is fairly well documented that Anegrelide can cause coronary heart issues in some people, and palpitations...
I have tried CBD Oil, and mine still had some THC, and apparently most of them still do...
However, from a pain perspective, I believed that the Oil helped in some ways, while in others, I found it wanting...
For example, my fatigue levels are normally not great w/ Anaemia, and I found the CBD made me even more lethargic than was usual... It also stimulates your appetite, and I really don't need to gain weight, quite the opposite in fact...
Anyways, best wishes and I hope you find what works best for you...

Hi. I’m in the US & have been taking pharmaceutical grade CBD oil without any THC (the stuff which can affect you like old fashioned pot) in it. It has not given me any euphoria because there’s no THC in it. Nor has it stimulated my appetite; again for the same reason. It has not affected my platelet levels. It has eliminated some hand pain, made me calmer and more focused. Not sleepy because there’s no THC. I live in Florida & medical marijuana is legal. An aqaintance uses a dose with very little THC & mostly CBD and it’s ended his pain from neuropathy. It’s supposed to be very good for neuropathy and one of the few health problems where there’s pretty universal agreement about its efficacy. And that’s rare in the US. I don’t know if CBD without THC will help neuropathy. But you have to get a high quality CBD oil. Most are not quality controlled. But you should first discuss it with your doctor. I hope things improve for you. Take care. Katie
I have tried but I did not find it to help. Let me know if it helps you. I am interested.
On another note they should do studies like these with maraguana or even certain diets to help lower the platelets
I have the same problem and yes, it helped me a lot: cbd.market/cbd-oil It is worth choosing a product that works for your specific needs, though. Most likely, you'll have to buy 3-4 before you'll find the one you need, I know I had to. But the results will be quick and painless if you know what you are doing. After a couple of years of regular use I can say that it's the only thing that works for me personally.
Hello, I want to tell you about a service for the sale and delivery of marijuana called the artist tree. This dispensary has a cannabis salon with the option to order snacks and drinks. In principle, this service covers both the medical and recreational aspects of marijuana use. If you are interested, follow this link: theartisttree.com/dispensar...
CBD oil is very useful for medicinal purposes, and many people also use it to relieve stress.

I've no idea if CBD oil has affected my blood results as I haven't been on it for long, but it has certainly helped with anxiety. For that alone I will continue to take it.
I don’t know anything about cbd oil but I have heard (and somewhat experienced myself) that side effects of anagrelide will diminish with time - so maybe be a little patient. Also, my aura migraines disapeared w low dose aspirin... something to try maybe... you are on a very very low dose of anagrelide and going up would lower your platelets and maybe with that your symptoms good luck!
