Oxford Forum 24 th April

Looking forward to being there, and I’ll aim to wear a badge with my Rachelthepotter name on it so that forum friends can find me. Someone ( sorry, can’t remember who) suggested that anyone who is a forum member might like to do that, so that we can identify each other in real life. Seems like a good idea.

Apologies to people who have sent me replies for slow or lack of responses : will aim to have some IT time tonight to get a bit more sorted.

Rachel

That's great Rachel. At the forums I have attended, I have looked at my fellow Mpners and thought I wonder who you are? but obviously some people prefer anominity , which we all respect of course, For myself I would love to chat face to face with the wonderful people who have been,

and continue offering kindness and wisdom to myself and others.

So go for it Rachel as big a badge as poss so people can find you.

( As long as Maz is ok with that, of course) Enjoy the forum.

Very best wishes Sandy X

I don't have any objections or issues with anyone who attends any of our forums wearing a name badge, or any identifying object, like a flower on the lapel, so please do go ahead. Maz

Maz, why not make it easier for members to find each other by having a meeting point somewhere obvious ; a nice big sun umbrella, say, on a stand over a table, with lots of MPNVoice T shirts in display. Then people who want to meet up can hang out there before the programne starts, or whenever.

Rather like arranging to meet friends under the clock in a railway station ( or the sewing machine deoartment of John Lewis in Oxfird St )

You get the drift, I’m sure.

Can you ask the organisers to help provide that?

Regards

Rachel

Hi Rachel, it will depend on what space is available, we will have tables with our booklets and resources on, which take up a lot of space, plus the registration table, so it might not be possible, until I get to the venue I won't know, but maybe even just a chair with a poster on it saying 'HealthUnlocked meet point'. Maz, that would be great. Just somewhere flagged up where people who post, and who wanted to get to know each other, can meet.
