Gladly, I communicate with a fair amount patients, anxiety and depression is Very common. I think the problem is gaining more attention in the MPN world.

I'm have MPN for 28 years , when my heamo told me , my platelets go up for 1 months from 514 to 670. Im stop thinking about my ET, becouse im can't cure ET, we must live with this, but big problem is if we heven't got help and undestend from family . I'm filing I'm alone , but I'm have family , my kids have family and not undestend I'm have MPN, not ask me much about simptom, my husband never ask me nothing , and I'm don't toking about my MPN , becouse nobody interesting , factor care is 0,plas we can't found peaply with same disease becouse is very rare, and only on forum we can Read and see peaply with same disease and can undestend . We all with MPN have same sort of depress sametime ,alway is in our head , samtime less, sametime more. I'm now can help my self with pozetiv thinking, praying and reading book. If im not filing good, I'm takes book from Dzozef Marti Power unconscious and help me lot.

Hi Lilly1958 I’m handing this ET single handed. My family do not or want to know details. I have to live with this so I just have to deal with it. I don’t worry as no point. I deal with my disease in a positive way because that’s the best I can do. I’m pacing myself and slow down when fatigued. My daughter live with me she has skitzophrenia but does errands and is good company. She cannot work as of paraniod and also takes her own anti medication. She help me when she has good days I help her other times in lots of ways. We both understand each other she knows I have Et I told her all about it. We share and it works fine. I’m not her carer but we support each other.

Congratulation Helene, you are very strong women, yes we must live with this, but you cases is more hard , becouse is you daughter sick , but we can't change our life and family.Best wishes!

You are not alone. You are young I completely understand you. I’m recently diagnosed I have a 13 year old granddaughter. I’ve told her honestly about my illness she’s fine. She understands and misses me a lot and wants to still come see me. My grandson is 2 today we are having a party tonight. Life goes on. But changes as we have this illness. But I’ve just joined this group. We all support each other. I am with you I know it’s hard but acceptance is the first step. It’s hard I know but we are all together in this group. I will be there for you. I feel for you it makes me upset but apart from this we all share as a group and feel free to get to know people of all ages share same illness which we are unsure of.

Feeling sad today I was not invited to my grandson 2nd birthday. I know he loves his nan. I had lot of cards and a scooter. Worse still my headaches came back a few days ago. I’ve also been very tired today wonder it my platelets up again.
