Easier said than done but try not to worry. A couple of weeks is not going to do any more harm. Once the results come in they may hopefully offer you a bone marrow biospy so you will know for sure what you have. Whatever you have also be comforted that there is something they can do for you to help.
They may put you on medication to bring your platelet and white cell count down but this will depend on how high they actually are. They can do this before proper diagnosis if it is too worrying.
Worry has an amazing ability to raise platelets so try and have the mindset of "i'll find out soon and all will be well". Drink at least 2 litres of fresh water throughout the day. Unfortunately your symptoms are a common part of having an MPN and hopefully will subside once medication starts.
All the best and remember you are not alone, we have all been through this.

HI BrandyC84, as Fee has said, try not to worry too much, we know it's easy to say but we have all been there and know how you are feeling. Once you have your results and have been given a diagnosis you will be able to move on and we can all give you adivce and support and point you in the right direction of what to read to learn more and find ways to cope. Best wishes, Maz
Once your diagnosis comes you will feel relieved. Until then just take comfort from the fact that her is life after diagnosis and accepting and coping with it becomes easier over time. You will have fantastic support from this sight.
Sit tight, take some deep breaths.
Lots of hugs,
Good luck
Oophs site not sight!!!
