I went for a smear test and the nurse said I was very inflamed and bleeding. She referred me to gp. He made an emergency 14 day referral to a gynaecological oncologist. My smear has come back clear. Any advice or similar experience ?

In UK, anything that raises even the slightest chance of cancer will go on a 14 day fast tract check. The check will be eliminate the possibility of it being cancer . I know it will be a worry but nearly all these referrals come back negative - Try not to worry. I wish you all the best.

Happened to me once just the NHS doing the 2 week follow up - I was also clear. It is reassuring to know you are promptly checked😃
