Medication Review Update!

So I met my new Consultant, she is happy that I’m a good candidate for meds as the migraines show evidence of blood flow restriction and is staring me on Pegasys 45mcg on Friday. She was very lovely, knowledgeable and listened to all my complaints lol. She wants to start me low to get my system used to it and then up my dose if required. So here we go, the first steps to dropping my numbers!! 🤞

I came prepared with a list!! She said the fatigue and tiredness are the biggest complaints she hears as it can be debilitating but she said that migraines are evidence that blood flow is restricted...so I think restricted blood flow to the brain could be the problem...would certainly explain some of my issues 😂

I used to get headaches and dizzy spells but now my platelets are under control it’s just the fatigue and forgetfulness, 😩

I’ve just started taking high dose B12 2000u in the mornings, it’s apparently very good for fatigue and brain fog. Asked about taking Magnesium but my Doc said not for now while I’m starting Peg. Here’s hoping I’m skipping down the street remembering everyone’s name soon 😃
