Carri Duncan - Author who had PV

Evening all,

I stumbled across an article which led me to message this lady and I was wondering if anyone else had come across her, read her book or ever chatted to her, she appears to offer a support and skype package too?

Thanks,

I had a look and while the general healthy lifestyle advice seems sensible, I would be wary of anyone claiming to cure PV. It's not really clear as she says "heal" not cure but I would probably steer clear.

Hello Curlygal. Over 20 years ago, I changed my diet and brought my blood counts into balance. Please always feel free to contact me. What we've been taught does not have to be our reality.

what’s the evidence you’re cured?

Hi Lou,

Hope this finds you well? I just wanted to say I have great regard for how you take a holistic approach to your health and it seems you do everything within your power to keep yourself as healthly as possible despite the challenges you live with. I downloaded the book on Kindle out of cynical curiousity to be honest, and I can honestly say she is saying nothing that you do not already know or have already said on this forum. Save your money and treat yourself to something that you already know is authentic and useful to you! That is what my instinct says for what it is worth.

All the very best Lou

Hello susieq75. I would always advise following your heart and intuition with anything you are feeling. When I began on my journey, I found two women who had healed their own blood diseases through diet, and this approach really resonated with me. By changing my foods, I healed my blood, body, and life, without a lifetime of medications.

Hi what do you mean by ‘healed your PV’ do you not have PV any longer?

in reply to piggie50

Hello Piggie50,

My counts have remained in normal ranges, and personally, I feel that in all this time, my bone marrow has healed. However, one bone marrow biopsy in my lifetime is all I will ever do, and I will never be tested for this again. My body has been terribly imbalanced, and food allowed me to bring everything about my health into balance. Now, I fully trust my own gut feelings with my body.

My biggest question still remains in how this genetic disease or shift happened. I was healthy at one time, so how did my genes change? And if I reprogrammed my body once, then why couldn't I do it again? We must address the bigger picture of our lives to fully heal, and then trust that food, water, and happiness are our solution.

The human body is amazing and always working to be balanced for us. We've just not been taught that we can completely change ourselves from our own kitchens!

Thanks I did think that. Knowledge is power. Apologies for huge delay I didn't see responses until just now!

I also downloaded her book on Kindle for free and was surprised about the number of inaccurate facts she claimed, such as iodized salt caused goiters.

Beware!

in reply to tsperl

Hello tsperl,

I did not mention goiters in my book. However, they are prevalent in those who have a lack of iodine in their diet. Perhaps you've mistaken my book for another?

Please feel free to write here or contact me personally with any other concerns you may have.

Hello Lou! I would love to meet you personally and answer any questions you have. Please contact me anytime.

Thanks for replying. I totally forgot about this thread until just now. I am working on healing my bladder first but I am doing well with my PV too with counts lowest they have been and feeling very positive about the future but always happy to connect. x

That's amazing, and I'm so happy for you! xoxo
