ET & diet

I know that the general advice is to eat healthily but are there any foods which are particularly helpful or not advisable for anyone with ET?

Apparently I'm also pre-diabetic so am trying to amend my eating to accommodate those restrictions and was wondering whether I need to take anything else into account.

I tend to rarely eat high vitamin K1 foods like spinach, kale etc as these increase clotting factors. Vitamin K2 from meat and fermentation of soy supposedly take calcium from arteries and directs it to bone, but the month I took supplementation of K2 menaquinone 7 (there's different forms), my platelets rose after been stable for 2 years, and they say this form does not have any influence on clotting factors, I don't know if this was just coincidence.

Thanks Fee. I'd noticed people talking about Vit K in various threads but couldn't remember what was being said. (When I was at school I can only remember being taught about Vits A-D!)
