Spleen question

Hi. I have MF and a bug at the moment, and I am finding that I am getting more pressure sensations and discomfort in my spleen... and this makes me feel sick. Does anyone else experience this? Is it the spleen working overtime on white blood cell production? Thanks!

Hi Mrs Average, , I have experienced the discomfort of a very large spleen due MF, and would say you may well be right depending on how large your spleen is and what stage your MF is at. But the bug could be causing you to feel sick . . I think you need a medical opinion to answer your question.

My spleen used to play up now and then but as it was so big pressed on my stomach so I often felt full after a small meal and sometimes felt sick if I ate too much. . Of course your discomfort might ease when your bug clears. ,

Chris
