Hello all lovely people,

I wanted to know how we can detox in a good way for us MPN's. I am with ET and would like to start some detox since we are for so long on our medications.....

Any suggestion are welcome.

Wishing you all well.

I use the colon cleanse from Blessed Herbs website twice a year and try and follow the Whole30.com program as much as possible.

Hi

Maybe concentrating on a regular diet devoid of chemicals additives preservatives etc is as important as the detox itself?

I went on an elimination diet about 5 years ago ( was diagnosed with PV in 2009) after thinking it was probably wasn't a good idea to pack in the chemicals in food as well as in medication.

I ate only organic chicken, lamb, organically sourced fish, and organic fruit and veg, organic white and brown rice and organic dairy produce for 6 weeks.

After that, because organic produce can be hard to source in Cumbria , I eat organic produce where I can, but concentrate on not eating anything processed, ready made, tinned or packeted. I always buy organic chicken and dairy produce.

You only have to compare a supermarket chicken with an organic one to see which is pumped full of chemicals.

I rarely suffer from symptoms of PV and feel great.

Touch wood of course!

Best wishes

Louise

I decided to completely change my intake when diagnosed with PV..Jak pos ..6 years ago . I read books and looked on Internet .its easy to understand how we become sick ..what we eat and drink is making us unwell . So I made soup every day for a week ..vegetables and especially adding garlic ,only fresh ingredients ,I drank only filtered water or juices ,I bought a nutri bullet ..as soon as I started ,,I took back my life .my blood test results changed and stayed well .now I'm really good ,I'm only eating chicken. Or fish ,,vegetables and fresh growing fruit ..drink lots every day ,shopping is a pleasure ,I know what to buy ,nothing processed and no tins ,,don't ever drink fizzy drinks ,,poison in a can !! I promise you all the changes will make you well and physicly stronger ,,mentally clearer ... Try it buddy's .... Love Twinkly .xx💜
