The forum is being jointly hosted by Dr Earnest Heartin, Glan Clywd Hospital, Dr Arvind Pillai, Countess of Chester Hospital and Dr Nauman Butt, Royal Liverpool Hospital

This forum is free to attend, you are welcome to bring your family and friends with you, refreshments and lunch (complimentary) will be served before and during the forum. You are required to book to attend this forum, please email [e-mail], giving details of what MPN you have, the name(s) of your guest(s) and any special dietary requirements, i.e. gluten free, vegetarian, for you and your guest(s).

Programme

and will include talks from Dr Earnest Heartin – Objective Symptom Assessment in MPNs, Dr Arvind Pillai – Overview of MPNs and Dr Nauman Butt – MPN Trials, Practicalities of Participation Past and Present, and two patient speakers. The programme will also include breakout groups where patients, family and friends meet in smaller groups for each MPN, including a family/friends group, to discuss everyday challenges and swap tips.

Accommodation at the hotel

The Imperial Hotel is very kindly offering accommodation at concessionary rates, for the night of Friday 30th September only, rooms are to be booked before 05 August to take advantage of the concessionary rates, any rooms booked after 05 August will be charged at the normal rates. Guests will have full use of all the hotel’s facilities.

Standard double or twin rooms per night:

Single occupancy B&B = £95 / Dinner + B&B = £125

Double occupancy B&B = £125 / Dinner + B&B = £155

Parking

There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel with spaces available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, there is pay and display parking along the promenade at the front of the hotel 10 am – 4 pm at a charge of £4.50, and free overnight. Blue badge parking is available anywhere in the town.

What is the best route to fly in and drive to Llandudno if you are coming from Canada?

Hi Jools, I don't know, sorry, the nearest airports would be Manchester, Liverpool or slightly further away, East Midlands, but it would depend on where flights from Canada go to, and then you would need to find the route from whichever airport, if you are planning to drive then Google maps is a good starting point, the AA and RAC also will have maps and route planners, or you will need to check out trains.
