brilliant, thanks for letting me know. Maz

Hi Tracey

I got my travel insurance via insurer from leaflet on MPN website as recommended in Maz,s post. I have only had one clot, in my portal vein in 2012. I rang a couple and selected best quote. It was late last year and my first flight post clot, only single trip insurance and covered my brother who was travelling with me to and it was quite reasonable considering. think it was saga (yes I am over 50!)

Hope you have some luck from the list. Liz x

We actually have travel insurance provided free of charge with our Nationwide Building Society current account. It's a no fee current account with a £20 upgrade if you want the worldwide cover to include the USA.

My wife has PV and was previously injecting Heparin and now injects pegylated interferon - neither of these affected the premium in anyway and they are listed on the insurance document

Hello Tracy. I got my insurance with AXA a couple of months ago. It's an annual multi travel and its worldwide including USA, all of this for £65/ year. All the best

try insurancewith (all one word) telephone 0845 8 687 234 . Found this on the MacMillan website. A member who had had cancer was quoted hundreds like yourself and she got put on to this site and they quoted her £22.84! Worth a try, good luck x
